Egg Roll in a Bowl

  • Egg Roll in a Bowl
  • I like this recipe because it is so customizable!
  • Start off with 1 lb ground meat – ground pork or a ground pork/beef blend is good
  • Into a fry pan with a bit of sesame oil and about 2t of Toasted Sesame & Ginger and a bit of GPS
  • add in a thinly sliced onion and small, julienned carrots
  • cook about 5 min til carrots are soft
  • add in about 3 cups of coleslaw mix
  • then add the sauce> whisk together
  • 1/4 c soy sauce
  • 2 t honey or maple syrup
  • 2 t sesame oil
  • 1 t chili flakes
  • 2 t Toasted Sesame and ginger
  • Pour this sauce over the top and then heat up for a few minutes
  • serve over a bed of rice
  • I do 1 cup rice: 2cups of water with a bit of Chick’n free broth and 2 tsp of Everything Onion – bring to a boil, then simmer for 15 min and you will get perfect rice every time!
  • You can add some optional items – bean sprouts, mushrooms, peppers
