Steak Me Away Patty Melt

  • This is not really a recipe because you can personalize this however you want, so I will describe what I did
  • 1 lb Ground Meat (we used beef/pork blend) and added 1 egg and about 2T of Steak Me Away
  • Formed it into an oblong patty – because we were using Sourdough bread! Then cook on the grill or fry pan
  • Butter the outside of 2 slices of bread and I sprinkled it with Garlic Crush!
  • lay cheese on both sides of the inside bread
  • then a layer of thinly sliced onions
  • put the cooked patty on the cheese – then top with some prepared Smash Burger Sauce
  • layer the other slice of bread on top
  • grill each side of the Patty Melt on a hot grill
  • serve with some veggies and dip
  • p.s. hubby puts salt on EVERYTHING – but he said this did not need salt – had lots of flavour
