TACO PIE Featuring: GPS, Taco Seasoning, Fiesta Salsa

Cooking in the Kerkhof Kitchen

Taco Pie

I didn’t really use a recipe – was using up some leftovers, and some tricks to stretch the meat!
• 1 large onion, chopped
• 1 pound ground beef (or beef/pork blend)
• 1/2 tsp GPS
• 1 tsp  A Spice Affair Taco,

Ooey Gooey Queso Cheese

• 1/2 block cream cheese + 1 Tbsp – heated in a small pot
• whisk in 1 T Fiesta Salsa and 1/2 cup prepared Chick’n Free Broth then whisk in 1 cup of shredded cheddar – stirring until smooth and thick

Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a 9-inch round casserole dish with a bit of oil and a tortilla wrap

here’s where the fun comes – prepare your layers as you wish… tortilla wraps, ground meat/onions, black beans, corn, salsa,

I made my salsa with a tin of diced tomatoes, drainer with 1 1/2 t of Fiesta Salsa blend
Create your layers, then heat in oven for about 10 min

then – pour the Cheese Sauce over top

can top it with : Greek yogurt, sour cream, guacamole, salsa, chopped green onions…
