Teriyaki Chicken Stir Fry

Here’s the thing with a stir fry – you can put whatever veggies you want in it! I usually like to do a stir fry because I want to use up some veggies in my fridge.

Start with cooking up the protein- chicken, beef, pork – Your choice

I put some sesame oil in the wok, heat it up and then throw in the chicken and season it with Garlic Crush and a bit of GPS. Once cooked, remove to a bowl and keep warm.

Next go the veggies – and you want to start with the ones that take the longest to cook.

Carrots, then celery, peppers, onions and then mushrooms.

Season with Garlic Crush and GPS again

Once all cooked, add the chicken back, then I threw in some fresh cherry tomatoes.

While the veggies were cooking I made the Teriyaki Sauce:

2 1/2 T of dry Teriyaki sauce, into 1 cup cold water, bring to a boil and let simmer for a few minutes until thickened.

Cook up the rice : 2 cups water: 1 cup rice, with a sprinkling of Chick’n Free Broth and GO!

Pour the sauce over the veggies and chicken and then serve it over the freshly cooked rice and enjoy.

You can then add some cashews, or top with thinly sliced green onions too!
